Migma has recently installed two double-sided MassDOT-approved RRFB systems at one crossing in MA. In this installation, each RRFB system features 25W solar panel and 20Ah battery. Two MUTCD-compliant pushbuttons with FCC-compliant wireless communication modules were used to actuate lights. The entire systems were mounted on two 12’ x 4” round poles, which were installed by Migma’s contractor. Since these RRFBs are manufactured by Migma in Walpole, their cost is often the lowest on the market.
