Migma has recently installed two vehicle-activated flashing stop signs in MA. Each system is powered by one 25W solar panel and one 22Ahr battery. There is one PIR sensor and one receiver in each system and the sensor is installed 300 – 400ft from the stop sign for early detection of vehicles. LEDs on the stop sign start flashing only after a vehicle is detected and shut off automatically after a period of time such as 20 seconds. Because of its unique design and manufactured by Migma located in Walpole, MA, the installation is extremely easy and fast, thus, lowering the total cost.
