Migma has recently installed four double-sided MassDOT-approved RRFB systems at two crossings in Massachusetts. In this installation, in addition to RRFBs, flashing ped crossings were also incorporated to enhance the awareness of pedestrians in the crosswalk. The regular pushbuttons with FCC-compliant wireless communication modules were used to actuate all lights. The entire systems were mounted on 12’ x 2” square posts. Since these RRFBs are manufactured by Migma in Walpole, their cost is often the lowest on the market.
